Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

I think the NUB of the question is NOT whether the figures themselves are under/exact or OVER scale at all.The question IS; "What size of base would you need to accommodate the vast majority of 15mm...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

Calling "actual scale" a myth in miniature wargaming would be a vast understatement.  Weapon ranges (even bows) would span a tabletop or more, if you wanted to use a realistic scale.A couple of young...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

i think that the current scale would work just fine. if you do the math... a current 4" x 4" room would be reduced to 3x3 at a 3/4" tile base. im not sure how much extra room you will gain in storage...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

I'd be content with the same 1" basing as for 25mm figures, as long as there are doors, windows, and other accessories that work with the smaller scale. Personally, I base some 15mm figures on a 20mm...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

It has been my experience that most 15mm figs intended to represent a single figure end up on U.S. pennies or pretty close to it (3/4"). I think staying with 1" floor tiles would be wise, though I...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

I am thinking the floor tile size isn't the key issue. It's more a matter of making the surface textures suitable for the scale. And features, like arrow slits, doors and so on. Since I am working in...

I agree about fixtures over floors. It was the point I was trying for... 1/72 isn't a very popular scale for fantasy is it? I don't remember ever seeing anything for it...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

Maybe I was intruding in the 15mm comments, but for me it's 20mm that's lacking. I any case, this would be an area worth exploring for new molds. The existing fixtures and features are really suited...

Has anybody used these molds for 15mm dungeons, I've seen them used for 15mm FOW (Flames of War WWII) but not dungeons. They seem to be compatible. http://keeblerstudios.com...oduct=tiny-bricks-mold-3...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

Just got into 15mm and found this thread.  I think the 3/4" tile would be the best size to work with.  Keeps the scale smaller without shrinking too much and still gives enough room.  No perfect...

Re: 15mm Dungeon Builder

Sadly, the hobby industry didn't develop a reasonable set of "scales" until fairly late, so there was a lot of stuff that was made to no particular scale, and then a whole lot more in competing...
